본 연구의 목적은 2020년 3월 기준, 한국교육학술정보원에서 운영하는 RISS 웹 사이트를 통한 키워드 검색 결과를 바탕으로 시각장애아의 미술 감상교육관련국내 선행연구 동향을 분석 한 것이다. 한국어의 ‘시각장애’, ‘예술교육’, ‘미술교육’, ‘감상’, 영어의 ‘Visual Impairment’, ‘Blind Students’, ‘Art(s)’, ‘Appreciation’ 총 8가지 키워드를 사용하여 기본 키워드에 키워드를하나씩 추가하면서 검색결과를 산출하였다. 그 결과 시각장애관련 선행연구는 다수 있었으나 ‘시각장애’와 ‘예술교육’, ‘미술교육’과 상호 연계된 연구는 매우 부족한것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한 RISS 사이트에서 ‘시각장애’ + ‘미술교육 + 감상’ 키워드 조합하여 검색되어진시각장애아의 미술 감상교육과 가장 연관 있는 6건의선행 논문들을 구체적으로 분석 한 결과, 공통적으로시각장애아 학생들의 특수성을 고려한 수업 교재, 교구, 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 디자인이 현대사회에서 중요시 되고 있으나 그와 관련된감상교육활동은 찾기 어려웠다. 따라서 후속연구에서는 본 연구에서 분석된 우리나라 시각장애아의 미술 감상교육의 한계점을 극복할 교재, 교구, 내용 개발을 통한 현장적용의 실증연구를 통해 특수교육 대상자의 교육적 수월성과 평등성의 권리를 지원하고자 한다.


The purpose of this study was to analyze trends in domestic Preceding studies related to art appreciation education for children with visual impairments based on the results of keyword searches in March, 2020, from the web site of RISS run by Korea Education and Research Information Service. Eight key words were used: ‘Visual Impairments in Korean,’ ‘Arts Education in Korean,’ ‘Art Education in Korean,’ ‘Appreciation in Korean,’ ‘Visual Impairments,’ ‘Blind Students’, ‘Art(s)’, and ‘Appreciation’. The key words were added one by one during the searches. As a result, it’s confirmed that there were many earlier studies related to visual impairments, but that studies which connected ‘Visual Impairments’ with ‘Arts Education’ and ‘Art Education’ were very scarce. When six papers that were retrieved from the RISS site by adding the key words ‘Art Education and Appreciation’ to the keyword ‘Visual Impairments’ and that were most associated with art appreciation education for children with visual impairments were analyzed in detail, the need for the development of textbooks, teaching aids and programs in consideration of the specificity of students with visual impairments was ascertained in all the papers. One thing to note was that it’s difficult to find appreciation education activities related to design, though design is considered important in modern society. In the future, an empirical field study will be implemented by developing textbooks and teaching aids, which make it possible to overcome the limitations of our country’s art appreciation education for children with visual impairments that were analyzed in this study, in order to back up the rights of those in need of special education to educational excellence and equity.
