The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of CSV (Creating Shared Value) such as economic value and social value on corporate image and operational performance in logistics companies and to verify the mediating effect of corporate image. Based on previous studies related to CSV, the author identified the pertinent factors such as economic value, social value, corporate image, operational performance. Questionnaires were developed to measure each variable, and a survey of workers in logistics companies was conducted. A total of 217 responses were utilized for analysis. In order to test the hypotheses, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, structural equation model analysis and mediating effect analysis were performed. Results showed that economic value and social value each had a significant effect on corporate image, but did not have meaningful influence on operational performance. And corporate image had a significant influence on operational performance. Economic value and social value each had a meaningful influence on operational performance through corporate image. Moreover, it showed that corporate image had a perfect mediating effect on operational performance. Therefore, logistics companies need to actively implement CSV activities to improve corporate image and operational performance.
