Bram Stoker's Dracula is a sort of Gothic novel. Writer depicts fight between vampire, Dracula, sucks blood of human for undead life and exorcist-group, tries to eliminate Dracula in this work. Dracula is not fictional character, but he is historical hero. Actual model of Draculal, Vlad Tepes was lord of Walachia in 15th century and he gained an evil notoriety for ‘stake-execution’. Because he had to keep apprehensive crown in troubled situation. European Christianity was in collision with Ottoman's Islam sharply in those days. Bram Stoker attempted to make fictionalization of history by taking metaphor as cruel image of Vlad Tepes. Therefore, writer tries to represent anxiety against Eastern empire resulting from European's fear in a turning point. Conclusively, Bram Stoker's Dracula proposes desirable ‘combined criterion’ between fiction and history by fictionalizing devilish image of Vlad Tepes, Machiavellie's sadist.
