본연구는황복, T. obscurus 치어(TL 25.0±0.5 ㎜, BW 0.53±0.03 g)의초기생활사동안성장, 생존및공식행위에있어밀도와먹이공급횟수(공급량)의관련성을구명하기위해밀도와먹이제한조건에서일렬의실험을실시하였다. 실험기간중실험밀도는1.43 inds./ ℓ, 2.14 inds./ ℓ, 2.86 inds./ ℓ, 3.57 inds./ ℓ, 4.29 inds./ ℓ & 7.14 inds./ ℓ와같이3반복으로6개의실험구를설정하여주었고, 먹이공급은1~15일까지3회/일, 16~30일까지는1회/일로횟수를제한하였다. 실험은1톤수조에서30일간실시되었다. 실험기간동안, DFI, FE, 성장, 공식빈도, 공식폐사율(생존율)을조사하였다. DFI와FE는밀도에따른어떠한경향도보이지않았다. 공식빈도와폐사율은밀도가증가하고, 먹이공급횟수가감소할수록유의하게증가하였다. 그에따른생존율은밀도가증가할수록유의하게감소하는경향이있었다. 결론적으로군집밀도는공식행위와정상관계를보였지만, 먹이량은공식과역상의관계를지니고 있음을확인할수 있었다.


To investigate the influence of density and feeding frequency (food amount) on growth, cannibal dynamics and survival of puffer Takif ugu obscurus (TL 25.0±0.5 ㎜, BW 0.53±0.03 g) during early life history, we conducted one experiment composed with 6 density groups set up as 1.43 inds./ ℓ, 2.14 inds./ ℓ, 2.86 inds./ ℓ, 3.57 inds./ ℓ, 4.29 inds./ ℓand 7.14 inds./ ℓ. The experiment was triplicately performed in 1 ton FRP tank for 30 days. Daily food intake (DFI), feed efficiency (FE), growth, cannibal frequency, and survival rates were examined. Although not find any significant relation of density to DFI and FE, we found that growth decreased significantly with the increasing of density under 3.57 inds./ ℓ,but significantly increased with the increasing of density over 4.29 inds./ ℓ. Cannibal frequency and daily mortality rate was significantly increased with increasing density and decreasing feeding frequency, inducing the most poor survival rate in the highest density group and low feeding frequency. Therefore, we concluded that the density and the feeding frequencies affect sibling cannibal dynamics and survival of puffer stock.
