본 연구의 목적은 현재 어린이집에서 실시하고 있는 예술경험활동에 관한 교사의 인식과 운영 실태를 조사하는데 있다. 연구대상은 서울시의 A구와 B구에 소재한 어린이집 교사 190명이었으며 연구자가 설문지를 작성․배부하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료는 SPSS 15.0을 사용하여 각 문항별 빈도와 백분율을 산출하고 교사 변인에 따른 인식 차이를 살펴보기 위해 t검증과 ANOVA 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 영아반 예술경험활동에 대한 교사의 인식에서는 어린이집유형과 교사학력, 교사전공에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였으며 예술 활동별 지도의 어려움에서는 어린이집유형에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 영아반 예술경험활동의 운영 실태는 주 4회 이상, 회당 15분 이내의 예술경험활동을 실시하는 경우가 가장 많았으며 교사는 음악활동을 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났고 영아의 참여도가 가장 낮은 활동은 가작놀이활동으로 드러났다.


This study, as a basic study for developing art education programs for infants, intended to investigate the current functional status of the art activities and the perception gap according to the variables of teachers in child care centers. The objects of this study were 190 teachers working in child care centers in the city A, and the researcher surveyed them by distributing selected questionnaires to collect research subjects. The data was analyzed by frequencies and percentages by using the SPSS 15.0,and x2-test and the verification ANOVA were used in order to look into the perception gap according to the variables of teachers. The results of the research are as follows: Firstly, in terms of the perception gap according to the variables of teachers, differences of the perception between the teachers in the art activities were founded according to the type of the child care centers, the education level of the teachers and the major of the teachers. Teachers’ consciousness of difficulties in teaching each art activity also presented some of differences according to the type of the centers. Secondly, teachers mostly carried out the art activities with infants over 4 times in a week, less than 15 minutes each time. In addition, teachers preferred music activities more than any other activities and the activity that the participation rate of infants was the lowest was play activities.
