Confucian Hyo(filial piety) lays great stress on the mind that respects one's parents. But for the case that parents make a wrong, how offsprings should behave? Confucius say that one very cautiously admonishes parents, viewpoints of confucius successors on this attitude of admonition is made a variety. Mengzi's opinion is viewpoint that even though parents break social rules, offsprings must not admonish, but Xunzi states that if parents is out of moral principles, justly one must admonish them. same confucian but opposed these viewpoints show looks which compromised with Mengzi and Xunzi to some degree in the Liji. That is to say, In the Liji there is, if parents have faults, on the one hand ‘offsprings admonish them but don't disobey’, on the other hand ‘offsprings beat a thing out of parents's head so that offsprings are on the proper side of the post to parents’. However, in the XiaoJing there is set a separately ‘admonishing scene’, what offsprings admonish positively parents is Hyo. On this wise, when one examine ‘the admonishment’ that is exposed in the typical scriptures of confucian, we can know that Hyo centering around blood ties that the confucius-mencius had weighed is reorganized to Hyo centering around social status in the XiaoJing through Xunzi and Liji. Also in contemporary society, an attitude of this admonishment of parents can be applied in dimension of Hyo.
