The design of frontal driver seat cushion in 1000cc minicar is very important in economy sides and maintenance costs. The best design of driver seat cushion can prevent backache and work-related musculoskeletal disorder (WMSDs). Therefore, this paper proposes the analytical and systematical method to evaluate pressure distribution of frontal driver seat cushion in 1000cc minicar. In this paper, TACTILUS Mat-Type was used to measure the pressure distribution of frontal driver seat cushion and based on 9healthy persons and 2 minicars. In the result of this paper, the pressure distribution of the back of seat between minicar A and minicar B was proved not suitable driver seat cushion through statistical testing. Finally, this paper will ergonomically provide decisive information for back design of the frontal driver seat cushion in 1000cc minicar.
