The objective of this study is to clarify the world view of Jeon Gwang-yong through in his works. For the purpose, the study analyzed conflicts of characters in his short stories based on psychology. The character of Jeon's work is described through the sorrow of an illegitimate child, the difficult lives of widows, the sadness of people who live in backward area neglected by our society. They do not show active effort to improve actuality that degrade, because they recognize their life by fate. In the 1960s, Jeon Gwang-yong undergoes a change in several ways entering. Seoul is established to stage of work instead of backward area and intellectual characters appear as hero of novel. They are suffer from many conflicts because of their own inferiority complex and disagreements with their environment. Especially, 'Dr. Lee' in "Captain Lee" is typical enough to represents the writer's perception of reality. Jeon emphasize the necessity of some reflection and re-perception by criticizing social problems of his times through psychological mechanism, excessive adaptation of character in his work.
