It is just one of those common things that buildings built only for using by economic activity have been lost without any document. Among these buildings, this study has examined on the drying room for tobacco leaves, especially with reference for layout, plan, scale, material of exterior and interior, space analysis, structural characteristics and architectural types. It was proved by analysis that the drying room for tobacco leaves could be regarded as architecture taken place in natural features of a region, not created by a very careful plan of an architect. Consequently, the drying room for tobacco leaves can be regarded as architecture adopted itself to circumstances. In addition, it is of excellent design shape and stability in the structure. And it is common to the buildings that they have opening of a firebox which carry out the same function, high interior space, vent holes, and inspect windows. The characteristics of this folk architecture is that they express material as it is and design frankness.
