To synthesize Zeolite with the silica source extracted from carbonized rice-husk, the experiments on gel formation, which occurs before crystallization to Zeolite, were performed preferentially with varying the SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratios at different SiO2 concentrations and then the synthesis of the zeolite-A and P types from the experiment results was carried out. For the crystallization of gel to Zeolite the optimal SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio was in the range of 0.5-2, at which the SiO2 concentration was 20,000mg/L. The inducing times in Zeolite-A synthesis which performed with the SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of 1 take in the range of 4-6 days by hydrothermal method at temperature of 100℃. However, in Zeolite-P synthesis, whose optimal SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio was 4, take 4days less than Zeolite-A at the same temperature.
