Mammillaria goldii, M. theresae와 M. pseudopectinata 의 생장 특성 및 종자 번식 체계를 확립하기위하여 2년 생 실생을 온실에 정식한 후 11개월에 생육 및 개화조사 를 하고 시기별 자가 수분 및 형매 수정에 따른 착과율 및 협당 종자수를 조사하였다. Mammillaria goldii, M. theresae와 M. pseudopectinata 의 식물체의 높이는 2.5~2.8 cm이고 식물체의 직경은 2.8~3.1 cm이었고, 부드럽고 작은 가시가 있었다. Mammillaria goldii와 M. theresae는 체내수정을 하고 M. pseudopectinata는 체외수정을 한다. Mammillaria goldii의 화색은 진분홍이고 M. theresae는 분홍색, M. pseudopectinata는 분홍색이었고, 화경은 5.0~6.2 cm 정 도 되었다. 개화 시기는 4월에서 6월이었고, 5월의 개 화수는 5개 정도이고 개화기간은 3일정도 되었다. Mammillaria goldii의 착과율은 50.0%, 꼬투리당 종자 수는 25.3개이고, M. theresae는 57.3%, 꼬투리당 종자수 는 35.0개이고, M. pseudopectinata는 69.0%, 꼬투리당 종자수는 62.0개이다. 시기별로는 5월의 결실율 및 꼬투 리당 종자수가 가장 많고, 다음에는 6월과 4월이 많았다. 특히 M. pseudopectinata의 5월의 착과율은 75%로 가장 높았고 꼬투리당 종자수도 68개로 가장 많았다. M. goldii의 자가 수정의 착과율은 16%, 꼬투리당 종자수 는 13개이고, 형매수정의 착과율은 58%, 꼬투리당 종 자수는 30개이었다. M. pseudopectinata의 자가 수정 의 착과율은 20%, 꼬투리당 종자수는 18개이고, 형매 수 정의 착과율은 75%, 꼬투리당 종자수는 68개이었다. 이와 같이 Mammillaria 속 선인장을 5월에 형매 교 배를 하면 결실율이 높고 많은 종자를 얻을 수 있다.


This experiment was conducted to investigate the propagation system by seed to check growth, flowering, and making seed of three-year-old cactus of potted Mammillaria goldii, M. theresae, and M. pseudopectinata. Plant height and width of them was 2.5~2.8 cm, and 2.8~3.1 cm, and seed formation of Mammillaria goldii and M. theresae had internal body taking 130 to 135 days to ripening seeds, however, M. pseudopectinata had externals taking just 26 days to ripening seeds. The mean seeded pod from April to June of M. goldii was 50.0% and the number of seeds in a pod was 25.3. In M. theresae, the mean seeded pod from April to June was 57.3% and the number of seeds in a pod was 35.0. However, the highest rate of seeded pod on May of M. pseudopectinata was 75.0% and the number of seed in a pod was 66.0. The sib crossing was much more ripening seed fertilization than that of self crossing in the Mammillaria. The self crossing was formed from 12.0% to 20.0% of seeded pod, from 12.0 to 16.0 number of seed in a pod. However, sib crossing obtained 58.0% of seeded pod, 30 seeds in a pod of M. goldii, 65.0% seeded pods and 40 seeds in a pod of M. theresae, and 75.0% seeded pod, 68 seeds in a pod of M. pseudopectinata as the highest of them.
