Nowadays, many enterprises have implemented e-Business systems to efficiently perform their business tasks and improve their competitiveness in a SCM environment. In this environment, end-user e-Business capability is necessitated for effectively performing his or her given tasks and improving his or her business performance. Measures of end-user e-Business competency are extracted from the major components of a general competency. A measurement model is composed of the measurement factors and items with a measurement system and method. The developed model is verified by factor analysis and reliability analysis through a pilot test. This study presents a 16-item model that can measure an end-user e-Business competency in a SCM environment. The application and utilization of the model is confirmed by applying it to measuring the e-Business competency of the end-users in an enterprise with a SCM environment and by presenting the measurement results for them.
