Park Sung Ryong is a poet who contributes to the formation of orthodoxy in Korean pure relic. The lyricism that Park Sung Ryong's early poetry shows has hardness. The structural hardness shown in his poem seems to be supported by the word of things in his poem. In his early poetry, Park Sung Ryong shows a world of development as a material of nature. He shows to look for the basic unreasonableness in life through the elaborate and careful insights of nature and trivial natural symbols. As he juxtaposes the materials of mutual prominent layers, Park Sung Ryong's early poetry shows to create new meanings. Those characteristics found in his early poetry become a factor to make his early poetry a hard and implicit poetry. Park Sung Ryong converted his poetic concern to the world of daily life in the middle period of his poem world. As to his main concerns of the poems in that period, he revealed his thoughts of his poetic ego thrown into the disordered reality as an object of home and family. It is because his property on life is prominent in the poems at this time. However, the poems at this time are excessively close to the distance between the poetic ego and reality. It shows to relax the mental foresight and poetic tension in order to objective the object. Park Sung Ryong was to see through the source of life through his late verses. He was to extend and deepen the existence while he adapts himself to the fate endowed. This researcher comes to know that his imaginative power was based on the value of Doctrine of the Mean that affirms a human.
