This paper studies our understanding about the education of china specialist and challenges to the professor in the department of chinese literature. In general, the concept of specialist has four meanings -linguistic ability, an ability of international negotiations, specialist knowledges, field works. I do not mean that the professors in the department of chinese literature have weak perception of china specialist but that they have relatively weaker consciousness of the specialized course. We began to have an active perception of the specialist as an object of education since the appearance globalism in1990’s. But the differences between a perception of china specialist and a specialized course has not been solved as yet. This is the challenges to the professor in the department of chinese literature.
