After showing the main films of main directors in China’s mainland since the 1990’s by forms, The thesis considers them clearly through comparison and analysis that the producing of film has got into depressing transitional period in China’s mainland from 1996, and the film market of the corresponding period has tended to go down. Then, the paper makes rational thinking and analysis on them in respects of selection of material, theme, recreational property and economic effects. It has a deep discussion on that which are the long-standing mistaken ideas about producing of the directors in modern China’s mainland and their causes of the directors themselves. In the meantime, the writer propose clearly the means to develop the film in China’s mainland for hisself.
