慶州 南山 三花嶺 出土 彌勒三尊像의 樣式을 고찰하였는데 삼존이 모두 아기비 례를 토대로 조성되어 있으면서도 本尊像에는 좌우폭을 강조하여 위엄을 부여하고 右脇侍 菩薩像에서는 左脇侍菩薩像보다 상하 길이감을 강조하여 左脇侍菩薩像보다 상대적으로 호 리호리하고 연령적으로 성숙한 상태임을 보여주고 있으며 左脇侍菩薩像에서는 머리에서 발 끝까지 발육이 덜 된 그야말로 아기의 신체와 그 정신을 보여주고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었 다. 本尊像이 남성적 이미지를 띤다면 右脇侍菩薩像은 호리호리한 여성적 이미지를 그리고 左脇侍菩薩像은 말 그대로 아기상태를 보여주고 있다고 할 수 있다 이렇게 本尊像과 右脇侍菩薩像, 左脇侍菩薩像에 남성적, 여성적, 아기 이미지를 부여하여 마 치 아버지, 어머니, 아기로 구성된 일가족의 모습처럼 삼존을 구성하는 것은 瑞山磨崖三尊佛像 에서도 볼 수 있는 것으로 백제와 신라에서 이러한 삼존구성이 유행하고 있었을 가능성을 말해 주고 있다. 삼존에 각각 가족적 이미지를 부여하는 이러한 도상 구성은 중국의 불상에는 전혀 나타나지 않는 것으로 한국인의 따뜻하고 유머러스한 정서를 반영하고 있다고 해석된다. 한편 本尊像의 신체부 외곽선이 不定形한 형태를 드러내는 점, 蓮花文臺座의 형태가 기계적 인 느낌을 주는 점, 右脇侍菩薩像의 성숙한 이미지에 맞지 않는 안짱다리와 촘촘히 잡힌 다리 주름이 표현되어 있는 점, 左右脇侍菩薩像에서 좌우팔의 형태표현이 차이를 보이는 점 등을 고려할 때 三花嶺 出土 彌勒三尊像이 유사한 삼존구성을 보이는 오리지낼러티(originality)를 갖는 작품을 模倣하여 조성되었을 가능성이 크다고 생각된다. 한편 本稿에서는 지면의 제약으로 중국의 아기보살상과의 차이를 分析하지 못하였는데 左脇侍菩薩像은 중국의 아기형 보살상과 달리 작품 전체에서 완벽하게 ‘아기’의 이미지를 구현하고 있고 그 형태는 너무나 귀엽고 사랑스럽다는 점, 곧 오리지낼러티를 지니지 않더라도 그 자체로 아기의 신체와 정신을 완벽하게 드러내고 있다는 점에서 작품 수준이 매우 높다고 하지 않을 수 없다.


In the Maitreya Triad from Samwharyung at Namsan, the each image is represented on the basis of baby's proportion. But the main buddha image is endowed with majesty by emphasizing the width, while by emphasizing the length the right bodhisattva image looks older than the left bodhisattva image who from the head to the foot shows the baby's body and spirit to be not developed. Thus it can be said that the main Buddha image gives the manly impression, the right bodhisattva image gives slim and so feminine impression, and the left bodhisattva shows the state of the baby. Like this the main buddha image, the right bodhisattva image, the left bodhisattva image were endowed with the manly, womanly and infant Image, thus it seems that the triad were composed like a family structure consist of a father, a mother and a baby. The Sosan triad of Paekche shows this family-like construction as well, thus it is supposed that the construction of the triad like a family were popular among the Silla and Paekche. And in that the construction of the triad like a family is not at all seen in the contemporary Chinese sculptures, It is thought that this unique construction reflected the humor and the warm emotion of the Korean While in that the outline of the main Buddha image shows unfixed form, the shape of the lotus pedestal gives the mechanical impression, the bowleg and the dense folds on the leg is not in harmony with the mature impression of the right Bodhisattva image and in the right and left Bodhisattva images, the forms of the right and left arm betray the difference , it is thought that the triad is a epigone which imitates the original triad of the contemporary period. Regardless of having not analyse the difference from the contemporary Chinese babylike Bodhisattva images on account of limited space, in that the left Bodhisattva image shows perfectly the state of the body and spirit of the baby differently from the Chinese one and the form of it is ever so much lovely and amiable , We cannot help estimating the artistic level of it is very high.
