The aim of this study was to find out how the students were influenced by cow-eye dissection experiment in their study achievement and attitude toward dissection experiments. The participants of this study were 138 middle school students from province of Gyeonggi. The tests of achievement and attitude toward dissection were carried out before and after classes, and writing activities were only done by experiment group. The result of this study were as follows:The effect of cow-eye dissection experiment was significant for achievement compared to traditional groups(p<0.05). Especially it was significant for male students(p<0.05) and students in mid(p<0.05) level achievement. And it also was significant for improving attitude toward dissection(p<0.01) of students. Especially it was significant for male students(p<0.01) and students in mid(p<0.01) and low(p<0.05) level. In writing activity about dissection, students showed responses like 'thankful'(30.6%), 'disgusted' (18.4%), 'repulsive'(13.9%), 'very effective for understanding this unit'(13.5%), 'marvelous'(8.2%), 'funny'(6.1%), 'sorry'(5.7%) and 'pitiful'(20.0%). Especially, female students had more 'repulsive' opinions than male students.
