이 연구는 발레 전문가의 경험적 지식을 토대로 발레영재성 구성요소를 탐색하고, 탐색된 요소에 대한 중요도를 확인하고자 하였다. 발레영재성 요인의 탐색을 위해 발레 전문가 14인을 대상으로 개방형 설문과 면담을 실시하였고, 탐색된 요인의 상대적중요도를 산출하기 위해 발레 전문가 15명을 대상으로 계층분석(AHP)을 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 영재성 요인 추출과 범주화를 위해서 귀납적 내용분석을 사용하였으며, 계층분석은 EC-2000과 Microsoft Excell을 활용하여 실시하였다. 연구결과, 발레영재성은 신체, 예술적 감성, 발레지능, 심리, 환경의 5개 일반영역으로 범주화 되었다. 또한, 각 일반영역에 대한 세부영역으로 신체는 체격, 체력, 협응으로, 예술적 감성은 느낌, 연기력, 음악성, 무대 예술적 기질로, 발레 지능은 이해력, 기억력, 창의력, 분석력으로, 심리는 동기, 성격, 정서로, 환경은 주요타자와 교육 관련 주제로 구성되었다. 발레영재성 구성 요인의 상대적중요도는 예술적감성(40.2%), 신체(25.3%), 발레 지능(17.5%), 심리(10.4%), 환경(6.6%) 순으로 산출되었고 각 일반영역에 포함된 하위요인의 상대적중요도는 예술적감성 요인의 경우 음악성, 느낌, 예술적 기질, 연기력 순으로, 신체 요인은 협응, 체격, 체력 순으로, 발레지능 요인은 이해력, 분석력, 창의력, 기억력 순으로, 심리 요인은 정서, 성격, 동기 순으로, 환경 요인은 교육, 주요타자 순으로 상대적중요도가 산출되었다.


The purpose of this study was to explore the factors of ballet giftedness and confirm the significance of those identified factors on the basis of the empirical knowledge of ballet expert. To reach the goal of this study, 14 ballet experts were interviewed in order to identify the factors related to ballet giftedness, and 15 ballet experts were selected to determine the significance of factors and conduct two-way pair-wise comparison survey. In this study for qualitative data analysis, inductive analysis and face validity were conducted to identify factors related to ballet giftedness and categorize them, and furthermore, the data was processed using EC-2000 and Microsoft Excel. Through those processes, the following conclusions were drawn. First, general components of ballet giftedness were body, artistic sensitivity, ballet intelligence, psychology, and environment. More specifically for ordinary spheres, the constructing components of body were physique, physical strength, and coordination. The components of artistic sensitivity were feeling, acting ability, musical sensitivity, and stage presence. The components of ballet intelligence were comprehension, an ability of analysis, retentive faculty and creativity, The components of psychology were motivation, emotion, and personality. Lastly, the components of environment were the significant others and educational supports. Second, artistic sensitivity was found to be the most significant factor in ballet giftedness, followed by the body, ballet intelligence, psychology, environment. In detailed division, body was verified of the priority order of coordination, physique and physical strength consecutively. In like manner, artistic sensitivity was of the order of musical sensitivity, feeling, stage presence and acting ability. Ballet intelligence was of the order of comprehension, an ability of analysis, creativity and retentive faculty. Psychology was of the order of emotion, personality and motivation. Lastly, environment was of the order of educational support and significant others.
