This study clarifies the relationship of breath training with the capability of maintaining correct posture for ballet dancers to express steady and beautiful motion. For this purpose, this study divided the ballet dancers into the breath training group and non-breath training group. For the breath training group, it implemented the "yeok"(reverse) breath training group of 12 weeks. This study was to examine to analyze lung function by the groups(breathing training group, non-training group) and periods (before training, 6 weeks, 12 weeks).The subjects of this study were 23 female students (12 in breath training group, 11 in non-breath training group) who were the ballet dancers enrolled in Department of Dancing at K University, and the breath training group had the breathing training and ballet bar center, and non-training group had the ballet bar center for 5 times in 12 weeks. In the lung function analysis, the vital capacity, forced vital capacity, and maximum voluntary ventilation had the breathing group having the higher figure for the third try than the first and second try, however, the non-breathing group did not shown much of significant difference. As a result of summarizing the above, the breathing training brings to promotes the capability to maintain breathing for a long period of time and make critical role in expressing the accuracy and artistic nature of the dancing motion in the work activities of the ballet dancers in the future
