Recently, the roles of the construction professionals become more important in all phases of construction project life cycle. Construction professionals' capabilities are key factors to accomplish construction project objectives. After acquiring basic knowledge and skills in colleges, construction professionals have opportunities to develop their skills and ability through continuous education provided by construction companies, associations, colleges, and etc. Construction professionals' capability levels can be determined by quality of education. Thus, the academic institutions have to develop educational programs that meet company's demands and at the same time the companies have to execute the continuous education corresponding to construction professional's career map. This research proposes directions for improvement of undergraduate and graduate education system for construction professionals by benchmarking study.
