The paper examines attractiveness of urban destinations in HongKong and Beijing, China. The comparativeness was investigated using the Fishbein model. A total of 228 in HongKong and 230 in Beijing Korean tourists were required to rate attractiveness attributes. A multi-attribute model with data analysis involved the t-test and ANOVA was employed to measure the touristic attractiveness of the destinations in terms of importance and performance scores. The common results indicate that the major attractiveness in Beijing is socio-cultural assets, such as localization, cultural and historical attractions. Instead, the most attractiveness attributes in HongKong is safety and security, shopping, accessibility, transportation service and so on. From this study, three primary conclusions can be drawn. First, Korean tourists really care for safety and security with urban tourism. Second, natural and cultural attractiveness are contributing to the success of the modern tourism. Third, there are universal and unique attributes that influence tourist attractiveness of each destinations.
