The aim of this paper is to examine the relationship between job satisfaction for bus drivers and the quality of passenger service performance that they provide in Daegu. For this purpose, we conducted a job satisfaction survey on bus drivers, and factor analysis was performed to explore the determinants of job satisfaction for bus drivers. Moreover, we measured passenger service performance on high and low groups of job satisfaction, and analyzed the differences in passenger service performance in two groups by T-test. In addition, we explored the determinants of job satisfaction that have an effect on passenger service performance. The findings from this study are as follows: First, the determinants of job satisfaction for bus drivers presented the identification of job, working time, human relationships, working facilities, working days. The job identification was found to be the most important among the determinants of job satisfaction. Secondly, it was found that passenger service performance had statistically significant differences between high and low groups of job satisfaction. In addition, the job identification and working time among the determinants of job satisfaction for bus drivers significantly affected passenger service performance.
