Numerical analysis has been performed to understand ow characteristics in the reactor with bag lters in anintegrated adsorption/catalytic process which can treat dioxin and NOx together. Computational uid dynamicstechnique was employed with Euler-Lagrangian model to consider ue gas and activated carbon particles simulta-neously, so that residence time of ue gas and activated carbon particle could be obtained from the numerical analy-sis directly. The numerical analysis has been performed with different three particle sizes and compared each owdistribution, residence time of ue gas and activated carbon particles, and distribution of activated carbon havebeen obtained from the numerical analysis. Flow patterns of ue gas and activated carbon particles in the reactorwere very complicated and they moved along very various paths. Therefore, their residence time in the reactor wasthe residence time is combined with the reaction equation.
