The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data when planning the future through quantitative evaluation of the healing environment in the women's hospital. The evaluation categories are set for five categories in sense of openness/space, natural elements, amenity, individual space/territory, and social exchange. The case study used in order to evaluate quantitative evaluation categories. And then, the questionnaire surveyed with the out-patients and the hospitalized patients. The result of the study are shown as follow. In terms of the section of quantitative evaluation, the satisfaction of patients tended to increase as the variety and area of the space increased. However, their satisfaction did not keep increasing even if the area or type of space increased. Namely, the main floor needs to have the open atmosphere as large as possible, and the type as well as the area should be diversified in terms of natural element. At least one side of the patient room should face the open air and the room designed for several patients should ensure its territory. It is necessary to arrange various intermedia교 spaces in appropriate locations for social exchange. The derived elements are expected to be used as the fundamental data in planning of women’s hospital, and the concrete review for quantitative evaluation must be followed.
