본고는 新 국어과 敎育課程의 개선 방향을 모색한 논의이다. 新 교육과정은 弘益人間 이념을 구현할 수 있도록 文化的 能力을 향상시키는 방향을 指向하고, 文字의 文化生産的 가치 증대와 생산력을 극대화시킬 방안을 제시하며, 국제어인 韓國語에 합당한 자주적 이론 바탕에 근거하여 개선해야 한다. 그 구체적 방안으로는 학교 級別, 학년별 및 각 영역별 목표를 제시하고, 화법은 討論 교육, 문법은 실용 문장 문법을 강조해야 한다. ‘읽기’는 독서, ‘쓰기’는 論述 쓰기, 문학은 創作이 중심이 되어야 하고, 영역은 5개(화법/문법/독서/작문/문학)案, 4개(언어-화법과 문법/독서/작문/문학)案, 3개(독서/작문/문학)案을 검토해야 한다. 文化生産 遂行 능력을 향상시키기 위한 교수법과 국제어 교수법 기준에 적합한 規準化 방안, 문화생산 수행능력을 측정할 방안, 國際語로서 한국어의 실제적 평가 표준화 방안을 제시해야 한다.


A New Direction in Korean Language Curriculum Bahng, Ihn-tae This paper are discussions with relation to a New Korean Language curriculum. These have 6 opinions. First, it has to realized the ideology of ‘Hongikingan’(弘益人間-devotion to welfare of mankind; humanitarianism). Second, it has to get out off the language education's theory of pragmatic usage skill in abroad. Third, it has to improve student's cultural performing power. Forth, it has to increase to language and letter's cultural production's capacity and to broaden an acting role of Korean's international literacy. Fifth, it has to design and propose to independent Korean language curriculum that can enlarge the cultural mind. Sixth, these have 4 plans, target’s presentation, contents and province, teaching and learning, evaluation. There are as belows; 1. Every part of target’s presentation ought to arrange in relation to schools, grades, fields. 2. Speech education have to teaching debate, grammar education have to emphasize practical sentence grammar. Reading education should focus on reading literary works, composition education ought to writing discourse, literate education have to concentrate on creative writing. Korean language educational province ought to have 5 parts(speech, grammar, reading, composition, literate) or 4 parts(language-including speech and grammar, reading, composition, literate) or 3 parts(reading, composition, literate). 3. Korean language of teaching․learning method has to improve performing competence of cultural production. 4. Language evaluation should measure a learner’s performing ability of cultural production and should present a standardized testing plan of practical Korean’s performing ability as international language.
