Metastatic adenocarcinoma to the brain usually appears low-to-moderate attenuation on non-enhanced computed tomography. However, metastatic mucinous adenocarcinoma shows strikingly high attenuation, even simulating hemorrhage in some cases. We present a rare case of a mucin-containing metastatic adenocarcinoma of the rectum mimicking cerebral hemorrhage. Key words:Metastatic tumor;Mucin;Hemorrhage.
