Spinal disorders associated with medico-legal issues are increasing. We present three patients with possible medical dispute or ethical dilemma. A pregnant woman aborted her baby after an operation for intractable pain from lumbar disc herniations. A man received an unnecessary radiation therapy for a spinal infection missdiagnosed as a metastatic tumor. A urinary incontinence developed after an inappropriate surgery in a woman with acute lumbar sprain. These accidents can be happened for any doctors.
