The spine is a pillar of human body. The lumber connects upper body and lower body, protects spinal marrow, and sustain body weight. The relative posture of the discs changes according to the spine's movement and body's postural transformation. The pain, pressure, and temperature are felt through the spinal nerves. When a certain posture or a movement is maintained for a long time, the spinal nerves are extended too much and pain occurs. So, the normal right arrangement of the discs cannot be maintained. A certain movement is sometimes restricted partly or wholly. when the movement is tried, severe pain is felt. To recover normal flexibility of the spines, we should do proper exercise. The general reason of low back pain is the failure of maintaining proper spinal curve. When you stand, sit down, or lie in a tensed posture or in a bad posture too long, you are prone to have low back pain. When your working position requires you to bend your spine for a long time, the same problem occurs. The furniture of which design ignores human body engineering consideration also causes low back pain. Everyday life posture guidance includes the posture guidance of human dynamics, the posture instruction on the bed, using medical gymnastics, and the postural instruction at the recreational events as a sport activity. To prevent low back pain, the normal right spinal curve should be maintained according to each posture and the relative muscles of the lumber should be trained. Spinal muscles, abdominal muscles, and back muscles should be strengthened all together to decentralize body weight that is usually loaded onto the spine. The burden on the spine should be distributed to the waist or abdominal muscles. The muscle training is a very important and effective method to prevent low back pain.
