The purpose of this study was to analyze classroom management methods of middle school physical education teachers according to sex, teaching careers and school type. Subjects were finally recruited 218 teachers who held office in gwangju city and jeonnam province by stratified cluster random sampling. To analyze the data collected for this study, SPSS 10.0 program was used for frequency analysis, percentage, chi-square test. The results from this study are as follow: First, middle school physical education teachers were mainly used to take emphasis of classroom readiness, establishment of rules, attitude assessment, system emphasis and attention concentration etc in the preventive classroom management methods. And in the control methods, they were mainly used to take an advice or attention demand, indirect physical punishment and attitude assessment. Second, there was confidential difference(p<.05) in the preventive classroom management methods according to teaching careers. But there were not statistically confidential difference in all the preventive and control methods according to sex and school type.
