In the task of farming modernization or industrial capitalism in the 1970s, our social contradictions and fetters manifest themselves most acutely. A farming village was at issue as the reformative focus or fettered subject of our society since colonial days, but lost its production foundation in the 1970s, went through its dismantlement, which caused the social characteristic. It becomes a space where human life and democratic yearning is thoroughly weakened. As such a condition reflected, then farmer's literature theory was definitely spotlighted in creation and practice areas, but concern about theoretic aspect was rather stagnated. It was due to first discovery of plundering scene in the 1970s without fairly pointing out result and limit by that time. It only made a long-winded explanation of plundering, but was very passive in presenting proper solutions. Notwithstanding, farmer's literature theory must have a position as a core content of national literature. It is an area containing the most problematic point of social democratization, which was a space to sense many social wavelengths, playing the last fortification to keep human purity or national locality. Above all, progressiveness of farming village was placed in the same line of directivity of then national literature. Thus, farmer's literature theory forming the central discourse of national literature movement in the 1980s acted as the sensitive indication of reform movement.
