The purpose of this study is to investigate the magnesium sulfate resistance of high-volume fly ash concrete. In order to figure out the effects of magnesium sulfate solution on the durability of high-volume fly ash concrete, the experiments for the immerging test in the 10% magnesium sulfate solution was executed by selecting factors such as W/B, air content, fly ash replacement, and duration of immerging. It was found from the measurements of mechanical properties that the 55 and 65% replacement by fly ash were very effective in the improvement of the magnesium sulfate resistance of concrete. During 84days of exposure to the 10% MgSO4 solution, high-volume fly ash concrete with the binder content of 450 kg/m3 and with replacement level of 55% and 65% were steadily gained the compressive strength, and no detectable deterioration was observed.
