This study analyzed characteristics of landscape elements represented in elementary school songs in Daegu city. We draw five conclusions from this study.1) The main landscape resources are topographical elements such as mountain, field, and river. 2) Considering the distribution of landscape resources and the location of the elementary school, we could see that the landscape resources in the vicinity of the school are strongly represented in school songs. 3) Landscape in Daegu city represented in school songs made boundary territory with Palgongsan of North, Beeseelsan of South, Nakdong river of west, and Kumho river of North. 4) The spindle tree like aromatic tree is designated as school trees and rose is designated as school flowers. However, these are not related to the characteristics of Daegu city. 5) Considering the implications of school songs, the basined characteristics of Daegu city is reflected in the school songs.
