By analysing the contents as well as its attitude of the articles related with the world-cup event, it is identified how the domestic newspaper companies have dealt with them and what type of articles have been inclined. To achieve the goal, the study was content-analysed chosen world-cup related articles by extracting 12 domestic newspapers, from January 1st, 2001 to Dec 31th, 2001. The statistics such as frequency, cross-tab, t-test and one-way anova were used. The study results suggest the several implications; Of the subjects in the articles, those of tour, accommodation, transportation and promotion have rather lower part in them. Second, on the whole, the articles about economy have the least percentage and the columns and the interview also need to be complemented to lead the interest of the public.
