We have obtained the theoretical approximate formulae for the crossing time through a fitness barrier in a symmetrized sharply peaked landscape and in a symmetrized multiplicative landscape. We found that both approximate formulae nicely fit computer simulation results for the crossing time in the long-crossing-time parameter region such that the fitness parameter was much larger than the mutation rate, but smaller than the saturation fitness parameter. From the theoretical approximate formulae in both landscapes, we reassured that the crossing time scaled as a power law in the fitness parameter and the mutation rate and that the crossing time had an exponential scaling in the sequence length.
