The purpose of this paper is to investigate result and problems of contemporary elementary moral education and to improve it. Insufficient classes hours, and lecture-centered instructions are an obstacle to satisfactory moral education in elementary schools. I propose the following ways to solve several problems in moral education : First, the curriculum of moral education needs to change the way to construct it‘s contents Second, it is necessary to obtain the validity and comprehensiveness of core values and virtues in moral education curriculumThird, it is necessary to apply new instruction models. Finally, it is necessary to solve the difficulties of it‘s evaluation by using portfolio
