Hwa-Kwan(花冠) is a sort of headgear for ceremonies. it is not for practical uses but for special ceremonies or indicating social position. This studY is about Hwa-Kwan. The results are below: In chapter II. the study is the phases of the latter period of Chosun(朝鮮後期), the spirit of that age, Chosun-Sinocentrism(朝鮮王朝實錄) flourished, in 17-18century society got a turning point that was getting changed to modern commerce and industrial society, through having culture-pride sence. offering Book-Hak(北學) that accepted culture and institution from Qing and becoming one positively between cultural heritage and foreign culture. In chapter III, the studies are about Hwa-Kwan in the records of Chosun. especially the authentic records of the Chosun dynasty and the origin of Hwa-Kwan(花冠) in the records of China. Hwa-Kwan is very different from Nan-Aecof Chosun Dynasty Records, ratter Jeon-Ja, the original form of Chok-Du-Ri, is more similar to it. In chapter IV. Hwa-Kwan was restored a substitute for Ga-Che. it was accessory for preventing luxury life, besides it was modeled from headgear in China, Chosun people had it. It is worth while as it was based on Chosun-Sinocentrism in the latter period of Chosun and made it the outgrowth of that period. Therefore. Hwa-Kwan in the latter period of Chosun comes from Jeon-Ja in Qing
