Teaching Korean linguistic knowledge is one of the major three scopes in teaching Korean Language of the seventh National Curriculum. This scope was defined as the field of the basic knowledge to improve competence of Korean language usage, but this was not considered in the selection of the contents of the ‘Korean knowledge’. And the criterion of the Korean language was relatively considered as the primary element rather than the association of the competence of the Korean language usage in the arrange- ment of the selected contents. To remove this incongruity, we should conform to the following elements.Firstly, we should consider the efficiency, in other words, how effectively we can use the Korean language in real life when we have those knowledge Secondly, we should consider a bigger phrases(discourse or text) more than sentences as the material of educational contents.Thirdly, the contents of education are arranged according to the learner's level of the development of human intelligence.
