ABSTRACT

This paper develops conceptual logistics alliance models through literature review and case studies. And it analyzes economic, industrial and logistics environments of Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand and problems and successes of Korean manufacturers, retailers and logistics firms in those countries through literature review, questionnaire analysis, interviews and case studies. Based on such analyses, the business models and strategies for global alliance among shippers, large LLPs and logistics SMEs are developed.
