ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to analyze factors determining life satisfaction focusing on individual and regional factors. In order to analyze, theoretical rationale on life satisfaction are categorized into individual, regional infrastructure, regional development policy factors. As a result of analysis, education, economic incomes, occupation, facility convenience, housing, medical service, security infrastructures, culture and tourism development policy factors affect life satisfaction positively. But age, region, culture and leisure factors affect life satisfaction negatively. Policy implication are as follows. First, resident-oriented regional infrastructure such as housing, medical service, greenland, facilities, security should be built. Second, regional development policies including culture and tourism development policy are to be more facilitated.
