ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to offer revised ways by investigating inconvenient issues of the deaf on galaxy tab based IT vocational education contents targeting at fostering deaf IT professionals We conducted the usability test on 12 deaf people and 15 students in the department of rehabilitation engineering separately. The results of this study showed that there are some problems with learning pace control interface, bookmark, menu control, enlarging display and lack of advice. According to the problems derived, mobile contents development guideline for the deaf should be reflected on the higher education so as to help them study more conveniently.
