ABSTRACT

According to increasing export using FTA, our companies have already built or planned to build FTA country of origin(C/O) system to prepare effective administration of C/O and post verification on C/O of agreement partner. If the C/O system which had made through investing much efforts and money may have some errors in the building process or may not reflect exactly necessary information for the judgement of C/O, exporting companies could be exposed the risks of post verification. However, agency which has not specialized knowledge of FTA provides the service of system construction. And government supplies indiscriminate consulting and service of FTA C/O. These facts have intensified the confusion of exporting companies. Therefore, this paper would like to suggest effective operational proposals and government roles after drawing problems from the analysis of FTA C/O current status.
