ABSTRACT

This study suggests that social and emotional learning should be integrated into moral education to prevent youth problems like violence, bullying, drug abuse, drop out. Because emotionality and emotion regulation influence Social information processing in a good or bad way to his purpose, we need to consider that the function of emotion may be irrational without emotion regulation. It's important to teach not only moral motivation but also emotion regulation for youth in the moral education. There are five tasks to be effective emotion education in the moral education. changes in the moral education: 1) to strengthen emotion skill in the middle school and high school 2) to teach social and emotional skill 3) to invent strategy of problem solving with emotion regulation for youth in the emotionally laden situations. the function of emotion in conflict 4) to build circumstance which is proper to learning social and emotion skill 5) to invent teaching method based on the scientific researches.
