ABSTRACT

This study shows that the foresight activities of major countries are analyzed in detail so as to search for the foresight plan necessary to establish a national strategy in a ubiquitous society and its applicability. Foresight activity of the developed countries including United States, United Kingdom, Japan makes the policy transfer effectiveness generate and performs foresight of global aspect based on their strength. Otherwise, although Korea has a lack of the foresight activity against the developed countries, the aspect of preparation capability from ICT in Korea is to present as well as the foresight activity of the developed countries. Thus, it is necessary to cope with the actuality of Korea depending on not imitating the foresight activity of developed country unconditionally but strengths of Korea like preparation capability of ICT and etc. several policy alternatives are proposed and analyzed on the basis of the foresight data from major countries to propose the final suggestions of this study, and we conclude this study mentioning the foresight strategy of Korea.
